Well, it's been a while, and not really because nothing much has been happening.  I've been really really busy the past few months with school.  I haven't really had too much time to play games, much less write in this blog.  A month ago I finished a whirlwind of classes that all seemed to be teaching the same thing towards the end.  I then went to middle school.  Yep, you heard it, middle school, with the crazy little children.  I have to admit that I had fun teaching the kids.....for the most part....but that's another story.  Even though I had all that fun while teaching them, they just have way too much energy for me, and sit around and talk way too much. 

School was cancelled today, so that was kinda fun and exciting, except for the fact that I was at school already when they announced that the schools would be closed.  Note that I had walked there, in the freezing cold, ice patches on the ground, and crazy Salem drivers sliding all over the world.  I was so afraid of falling, not because I would get hurt, but I had a LAPTOP in my backpack, and it wasn't mine.  So I spent the rest of the day vegging out, even though I should have worked on my work sample.  In fact, writing this is a slight procrastination on it.  I did manage to drag myself out of the blanket long enough to get some work done, and now I have about half of my work sample finished.  I just need to get all of the papers I needed from the students in my class so that I can scan them and print them out.

Also, in more exciting news, I will be going back to Hawaii for Christmas.  I leave here on the 13th of December!  Yay.  I'm really excited to get out of this cold and go home to some good food and all of my friends that I haven't seen in forever!  It's been a year and a half since I last saw them, way too long.
